These terms are a contract between you and KilnWorks ("KilnWorks", "we", "us") covering your use of the KilnWorks web application at getkilnworks.app and any related pages or emails (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
KilnWorks reads listing, shop, order, and transaction data from your connected Etsy and Printify accounts and presents analytics on top of it: SEO scoring, tag and keyword analysis, trend and momentum tracking, profit and margin breakdowns, and optional AI-generated listing copy suggestions. It is an analysis and decision-support tool. It does not run your shop, place or fulfil orders, set your prices, or change your listings unless you explicitly use a feature that writes a change back to Etsy and confirm that action.
To use the Service you connect your own Etsy account (through Etsy's OAuth process) and provide a Printify API token. By doing so you authorize KilnWorks to access those accounts on your behalf to read the data the Service needs, and (only where you use a feature that says so and confirm it) to write a specific change back. You can revoke access at any time from Etsy's and Printify's own settings, or by disconnecting from the KilnWorks settings page; some features stop working when you do.
Etsy and Printify are independent third parties. Their APIs, data, rate limits, and terms are outside our control and can change or break without notice. We're not responsible for their availability or for changes they make.
Don't use the Service to break the law or to violate Etsy's, Printify's, Stripe's, or Anthropic's terms. Don't attempt to access other customers' data, probe or attack the infrastructure, scrape the Service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. Don't submit content to the AI features that you don't have the right to use.
The optional AI Listing Assistant sends the listing text you choose to work on to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate title, tag, and description suggestions. Suggestions are drafts for you to review and edit; they may be inaccurate, generic, or unsuitable, and you're responsible for anything you publish. Usage of this feature is subject to fair-use limits described in the app.
Your shop data and anything you enter remain yours. You grant us the limited right to store and process it to operate the Service for you and to keep operational and backup copies. The KilnWorks application, its design, its scoring and analysis methods, and its code are ours, and nothing here transfers them to you.
KilnWorks' scores, estimates, trends, and recommendations are informational and depend on data supplied by third parties that may be incomplete or delayed. They are not guarantees of sales, ranking, or results, and they are not financial, tax, or legal advice. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KilnWorks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if providing the Service to you becomes impractical, and (where reasonable) we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability) do survive.
We may update these terms as the Service changes. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
